Polish in Ireland, engineer by profession and a passionate writer at heart. After many years of writing for the drawer, she finally decided to self-publish her first YA fantasy novel – Substance Reaper.
Privately, a big fan of dogs, Camogie (crazy Irish sport, where you can get hit by a bat resembling a gigantic, wooden spoon) and playing The Witcher. She would sometimes come up with melodies on her guitar and then pretend she can sing. And of course she reads a lot.
As for the writing highlights, she got a distinction in the 7th edition of a competition U nas za stodołą (Behind our barn) with Gdyby Licho (If Devil only) – a short story that one day will develop into a full-length novel about little witch Marynia from Świerzowa village.

Taine always wanted to become a substance reaper – after all his superhuman sense of smell allows him to move about the caves as if he could see in the dark. A useful ability if you’re planning to descend into the underground labyrinth looking for the cure. And you can be sure, you are never alone in the darkness.
However, what will stand in his way is not only a new opponent and the circumstances, but Taine himself. In a no-win situation and acting against his own values, Taine will find out how many times one can cheat fate and what price must be paid.
